A story about a school for young psychics set in the early 20th century caught my eye while scrolling through the digital bookshelf. The description intrigued me. After the first chapter, I was hooked and I just knew I had to buy it. It's been a long time that a novel has transported me from this world into another! The way Cynthia Scott writes made me feel like I was there in the school, experiencing the events that Emmeline would read in her tea leaves. I seriously and highly recommend that you read this book. It's beautifully written. I look forward to reading more by this author.
